Executive Director (3-5 hours / week)

BookBooster’s Executive Director will be responsible for leading BookBooster’s growth strategy — from fundraising to partnerships to donor communications. As Executive Director, you’ll also own the relationship with First Book, the national non-profit that helps subsidize books for low-income schools. The primary responsibilities for this role will include:

  • developing/leading BookBooster’s 2018-2019 growth plan
  • managing communications with donors and partners
  • serving as spokesperson for external media

Marketing Director (1-2 hours / week)

BookBooster’s Marketing Director will be responsible for raising awareness about BookBooster’s efforts, and activating donors through crowdfunding efforts. Joining our team will means shaping BookBooster’s brand based on your vision, and, inspire thousands of individuals to help provide free books for low-income schools. The primary responsibilities for this role will include:

  • planning and executing fundraising events
  • building awareness through storytelling campaigns
  • leading community and media outreach

Business Partnerships Director (1-2 hours / week)

BookBooster’s Business Partnerships Director will be kick off BookBooster’s engagement with local businesses, and help drive monetary and goods donations. The primary responsibilities for this role will include:

  • leading outreach to Bay Area businesses
  • soliciting major donations
  • connecting recipient schools with local businesses
